Breakthrough Pain Modules

Breakthrough pain is a frequent problem that occurs in the presence of otherwise stable, persistent pain. It is usually associated with moderate to severe pain and may be a predictor of poor response to treatment with routine pharmacotherapy. Breakthrough pain is also associated with both functional impairment and psychological distress. It may be very difficult to treat. Assessment and treatment should be multidimensional, with pharmacotherapy being the mainstay of treatment. Accordingly, it is critical to update practitioners on the latest research regarding this challenging category of pain.

CME Monthly Modules

Dannemiller has developed a series of monthly learning modules addressing a wide range of current and important topics in pain and pain management. These modules contain 10 expertly selected and abstracted articles from hundreds of medical journals that cover the entire spectrum of pain. Each module is certified for 1 category 1 credit of Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians, 1.2 contact hour for Registered Nurses (RNs), and 1 CE credit for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).

Dannemiller hosts a bevy of meetings annually. When these meetings are recorded, we present the audio and visual content to enable you to garner the cantent as though you were in the room. Additional content is created by creating a PowerPoint based presentation and recording a speaker deliver the content.
